Auth0 provides a reliable and secure platform for handling user authentication and authorization in our software. As a user, you'll interact with Auth0 during the sign-up, sign-in, and password management processes. Here's how Auth0 enhances your security and user experience:

Account Creation and Sign-In​

When you create an account or sign in:

  • You'll be redirected to an Auth0-hosted page, ensuring that your credentials are not directly handled by our software, but by a dedicated security service.

Sign in page

  • Auth0 uses multi-factor authentication (MFA) to protect your account, requiring more than just a username and password to access your account.

Password Resets​

If you forget your password:

  • The password reset process is handled through Auth0, which sends a secure link to your email.
  • This link directs you to an Auth0 page where you can enter a new password, which is then encrypted for security.

Security Measures​

With Auth0, several security measures are in place:

  • Encryption: Auth0 ensures that your password is stored using powerful encryption algorithms, so even in the unlikely event of a data breach, your password remains secure.
  • Brute Force Protection: Auth0 detects repeated failed login attempts and can lock out an account or trigger additional security measures to prevent unauthorized access.
